Resolved Question: TSA Airport Assignments?

I have applied with TSA recently and have taken the CBT, accepted the Contingent Offer and passed the credit check. I also filled out and sent in my E86 forms. Now I'm waiting for the Airport Assessment. Talk about a long process.... But this is my question: I had applied for the Amarillo, TX and Midland, TX airports. Word, from a reliable source, said that the Amarillo airport had just hired 11 P/T employees and brought in 4 F/T from other locations so it looks like that is out. Don't know about Midland, though. For those of you who know is it possible that they may extend an offer to you to work at another airport if they have decided that they do indeed want to hire you?
